Qualifications for being a preferred contractor on this site:
1. We will check with the State Licensing Board in their state and have the License # (if required)as well as the expiration date of the license.
2. We will check with the BBB (although some contractors are not members of the BBB, if they have had a complaint, then the BBB
opens up an account. If the complaint is not answered then they will receive a bad rating. If they have a good reputation, it will also
be apparent on the BBB site even if they are not a member.
3. We will research them online and check reviews of the company (Other Contractor Sites, Merchant Circle, Manta, Yelp, etc. )
4. Only 5 Contractors per area / per category (that are approved) will be listed. This will keep the credibility of the list.
5. It is also recommended that you get 3 bids on a job. When you fill out the Estimate Request, a copy will be forwarded to each of the
contractors listed and an email will come to you for your records. This will ensure that each contractor will contact you in a timely manner and
not leave it to you to be frustrated trying to find a quality contractor in such a difficult time.
